The Yearly Deposits stated above represent the following charges for the Academic Year 2012/2013:
Security/Booking deposit (€250.00)
This is required to book your room. This deposit is refundable at the end of the year provided there have been no breakages or damages done to the apartment. Each apartment must be maintained throughout the year and regular checks will be carried out by the Property Company to ensure this. Any breakages, damages or extra cleaning will be deducted from their deposit. In the event that this deposit is not sufficient to cover the cost of damages, the excess payable shall be paid by the student on demand from Cratloe Wood Property Company.
Cancellation
Applicants must notify us in writing no later than the 3rd of September 2013 if they wish to cancel their booking. €200.00 of the booking fee will be returned. Bookings cancelled prior to the 21/09/13 will be refunded €150.00 and cancellation after this date will result in total loss of the booking fee.
Utilities Payment (€450.00) - Non Refundable
The utilities payment in non refundable. This is a contribution covering light and heat, broadband, waste disposal, TV license and end of year cleanind. If electricity usage exceeds the average at an early stage a further deposit will be required. Any excess payable at the end of the Academic Year in respect of unlimited usage will be deducted from the security deposit or if this is not sufficient it shall be paid by the student on request from Cratloe Wood Property Company.
