The Yearly Deposits stated above represent the following charges for the Academic Year 2011/2012:
Security/Booking deposit (€200)
This is required to book your room. This deposit is refundable at the end of the year provided there have been no breakages or damages done to the apartment. Each apartment must be maintained throughout the year and regular checks will be carried out by the Property Company to ensure this. Any breakages, damages or extra cleaning will be deducted from their deposit. In the event that this deposit is not sufficient to cover the cost of damages, the excess payable shall be paid by the student on demand from Cratloe Wood Property Company.
Cancellation
Applicants must notify us in writing no later than the 1st September 2011 if they wish to cancel their booking. €200.00 of the booking fee will be returned. Cancellation after this date will result in total loss of the booking fee.
Electricity Deposit (€300)
The electricity is calculated on the basis of usage. This does not include unlimited usage, if the charge goes over this deposit the excess charge will be discharged equally between each student in their apartment and taken from your security deposit. If usage exceeds the deposit at an early stage a further deposit will be required. Actual electricity bills are available for every apartment. Any excess payable at the end of the Academic Year in respect of unlimited usage will be deducted from the security deposit or if this is not sufficient it shall be paid by the student on request from Cratloe Wood Property Company.
