The village is made up of 210 apartments, all designed to a Failte Ireland 3* standard. An apartment can comprise of 2 or 3 bedrooms, with the 3 bedroom apartments containing 2 single bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen/dining area. As part of the design, there is a dedicated study area for each student. The kitchen is fully-fitted and each apartment comes with cable TV, direct dial telephone and internet access as standard. The village also caters for students with special needs.
The village is manned by 24 hour security and CCTV. Free car parking is provided for all residents. Laundry facilities are provided as well as a student pavilion comprising a games room, and recreation area. The village has a full maintenance service and refuse collection. As part of its commitment to its students, Cratloe Wood provides an on-site warden, residential caretaker & management team.
